Transmitting from Fukagawa, Tokyo to the whole country "Art works of artists with disabilities on labels"
From October 22, 2021 (Friday), we will sell “Art Para Fukagawa Original Label Wine” in collaboration with Art Para Fukagawa (Representative Director: Yuko Hojo, hereinafter “Art Para Fukagawa”). This time, "Fukagawa Winery Tokyo" and "Art Para Fukagawa Talkative Art Festival" will collaborate to release three products: Yasuhiro Nishikawa's work "Spring" and "Mariko Hayashi", which were selected for the [1st Art Para Fukagawa Grand Prize]. Award-winning work "Chataro" by Mr. Yuki Tanaka and [ASICS Japan Award]-winning work Mr. Yoshiki Saeki's work "Burning Thoughts".
What is [Art Para Fukagawa Talkative Art Festival]?
As a unique civic art festival, the works of artists with disabilities are exhibited in the town of Fukagawa (Monzen Nakacho, Kiyosumi Shirakawa, Morishita) in Koto Ward, Tokyo, where there are shrines and temples since the Edo period, and the entire town is turned into an art museum. Held for the first time in November 2020, about 75,000 people visited.
This year, it will be held for 10 days from October 22nd (Friday) to 31st (Sunday), and will include Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine and Monzen Nakacho, which is based in Fukagawa Fudoson, Kiyosumi Shirakawa, which is attracting attention as a city of cafes and art, and Fukagawa. Approximately 400 works of art will be exhibited in the town of Morishita, which is known as the birthplace of the art. Various projects are being prepared as a new event in Fukagawa where you can enjoy art appreciation while walking around the city.
